Locksmith in Punta Gorda, FL
Punta Gorda is the furthest I go, better than fifty miles north, and I only take the run when the job actually needs me.
Where I go in Punta Gorda
I cover Punta Gorda Isles, Burnt Store and the historic streets around the downtown grid.
The drive
A long run up I-75. Think in terms of an hour rather than minutes, and call before you assume I am the right answer.
Two very different kinds of building
Punta Gorda is split in a way nowhere else I cover is. The historic streets still hold genuinely old hardware, some of it original and long past the point where a key will save it. Then there is a large amount of rebuilt and replaced housing from the storm years, which is modern, uniform and often still on builder keys.
So the same street can hand me a mortise lock older than I am and a deadbolt fitted last year.
What makes the drive worth it
All keys lost. If every key to a vehicle is gone and it has to be originated from scratch, that is a job worth an hour of driving, and it is the main reason I am on the road to Charlotte County at all.
Straight about the distance
I am not local here and I will not dress it up. There are closer locksmiths for a simple lockout. Call me when the job is the kind that needs the right equipment and the registration to use it, and I will tell you honestly on the phone whether I am worth waiting for.
