Can a locksmith make a car key?
Yes. I cut and program transponder keys, proximity fobs and smart keys for domestic and Asian makes, and I can do it at your car rather than at a shop.
What if I have lost every key to my car?
That is still fixable and it is one of the more common calls I get. I can originate a key from scratch with no existing key to copy. It is also why NASTF registration matters, because that is the channel for getting the key and immobiliser data from the manufacturer.
Do you work on European cars?
No. Domestic and Asian makes only. If you drive a BMW, Mercedes, Audi, Volkswagen, Volvo or Land Rover you will need somebody else, and I would rather tell you now than at the kerb.
How much does a locksmith cost in Naples?
A service call is $39 to $89 depending on where you are. The job itself depends on the lock, so call and describe it and you will get a real number before I set off. If somebody quotes you $19 over the phone and then triples it on arrival, that is the oldest trick in this trade.
How fast can you get to me?
Most Naples calls, 30 to 35 minutes. Further out it is longer and I will say so on the phone instead of guessing to win the job.
Are you really open at 3am?
Yes. Lockouts do not keep office hours.
Do you repair ignitions or only make keys?
Both. I repair and replace ignition cylinders as well as cutting and programming keys.
Can you open a safe?
I do safe lockouts and combination changes. I do not sell safes.
How do I know you are not a scam?
Fair question, because this trade earned that reputation. I am a NASTF-registered Vehicle Security Professional, I am Top Tier Locksmith LLC, my reviews are on my Google profile under my own name, and I give you a price before I drive out.
