Locksmith in Naples Park, FL
Naples Park sits about four miles north of me, straight up 41, and it is one of the quickest runs I make.
Where I go in Naples Park
I cover the numbered avenues between US 41 and Vanderbilt Drive, and Vanderbilt Beach just west of the grid.
The drive
North up 41 and then into the grid. The avenues are numbered, so once you give me the avenue and the house I am not circling a subdivision looking for a sign. This is about as fast as I arrive anywhere.
No gate, no guard, no association
Naples Park is a tight grid of small lots and there is no HOA anywhere in it. That makes it the easiest place I cover to actually reach a front door. Nobody has to clear me at a guard house, and I am not waiting on a property manager to call somebody back before I can start.
The houses are a patchwork. An older single storey place can sit directly beside a new build, and the house on the other side of it is a rental, so three doors on one avenue carry three unrelated sets of hardware. The beach is close enough that salt reaches the outside of a lock. When a deadbolt out here starts to drag, the cylinder is usually the problem and not the key.
What Naples Park calls me for
Rekeys, more than anything else. So many of these houses are rented that a key changes hands constantly, and the new tenant or the new owner wants the old one to stop working the same day. Lockouts fill in the rest, and they are quick here because the door is right off the street.
Season
The rental turnover sets the rhythm. When a season of tenants moves out the rekey calls arrive in runs rather than one at a time, because the owners are all working off the same calendar. I would rather do them the week before a new tenant lands than the night they arrive and the key does not fit.
